To get started downloading your free version of Office, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Validate parent information.
Provide phone and student date OR parent email address.
Step 2: Create your StuddentOffice.net Account.
Enter an email address so you can change your password/manage your account. You can also add a nickname to the account if you want. Keep in mind that this is NOT your Account Name—which you will need to activate the software.
Step 3: Your account has been created
While the account is being created, the Status will be displayed as “Pending”.
Refresh the page, and it should change from “Pending” to “Created”.
If your Status displays as “Error,” Microsoft is having a problem with their system. Please contact Microsoft by emailing nycdoeO365@microsoft.com.
NOTE: Your Account Name is the email address you’ll need to activate your copies of Microsoft Office. Print the page, or copy the information and store it somewhere safe.
Step 4: Click “Install Office”
Once your Status displays as “Created”, Click “Install Office.” Note that Outlook, Access and Publisher are only available on PCs.
